The Philips Extended Warranty extends the warranty to the total number of years purchased, calculated from the date of purchase, not from when the manufacturer's warranty expires. For example, if you purchased a vacuum with a One Year Manufacturer's Warranty, plus a Three Year Extended Warranty on 12/18/2004, The manufacturer's warranty will be in effect through 12/18/2005 and your extended warranty will be valid until 12/18/2007, for a total of three years from the original date of purchase.
Actual Terms and Conditions will be mailed to you within 90 days after your order has been approved, processed, and shipped.
