| Exclusive to Sharp, Plasmacluster technology causes positively and negatively charged ions to be released into the air. These ions are unstable and are immediately surrounded by water molecules. The resulting clusters, which we call Plasmaclusters, spread throughout the room, attaching to airborne particles and molecules.

| TRUE CLIMATE CONTROL |
| When in the Cleaning Mode, the indicator light is blue, signaling that Plasmacluster ions are being emitted into the room. Once the air purifier detects that the room has returned to a clean environment, the indicator light changes to green and it automatically switches to the Ion Balance Control. This function emits negative ions into the room to restore the balance of negative and positive ions within the room. |
