Room air can be full of tiny pollen, dust, smoke and other particles too small to see. The micro dust sensor is a "smart" sensing device which uses a sophisticated infrared optical system to detect these particles and automatically adjust the fan setting to the optimum speed for filtering them out of the air passing through the air purifier. Note: A variety of factors influence the number of airborne particles in a room, including residence design and construction, the type, number and condition of window and door openings, the volume of traffic in and out of the room, pets, furniture and local climatic and geographic conditions. Also note that in general, the amount of airborne pollen in a room is very small and therefore may not be detected by the sensor.
Air Quality Monitor
The micro dust sensor operates 24-hours a day, monitoring the level of airborne particles passing through. It indicates the level of airborne particles by illuminating sequential red LED lights on the air quality monitor. The greater the number of red LED lights illuminated, the more airborne particles that are being detected by the micro dust sensor.
Quiet Operation
Is made possible by the specially designed fan, motor and related parts. Ideal for bedroom use.
Filter Check Function
The filter check lamps remind you when it's time to change the HEPA and deodorizing filters under normal operating conditions. During normal use, the HEPA filter lasts about three years, while the deodorizing filter lasts about one year. Note: The time of replacement may vary depending on condition of use.
Slim Design
With its slim design and 6" width, the air purifier will fit conveniently and unobtrusively into just about any room.
HEPA Filter
Removes 99.97% of air-borne particles 0.3 microns or larger at only Hi, Med and Low speed. Suitable for up to a 12' x 18' room (150 CADR: Based on AHAM chart).
