VCDiscounter - Help Me Place My Order!
Finding what you want to order:
If you know the model number or name of the item you want to purchase:
- Simply type it into the search box and click on the "Search" button or press <ENTER>.
- The resulting page(s) will show all the items found on our site containing the search term or phrase you entered.
- Scroll down the page as neccessary to find the item(s) you want.
- Click on the title or image of an item to go to the item's detail page.
- Proceed to the Add to Shopping Cart section below:

Adding what you want to order into your Shopping Cart:
Once you've found an item you want to purchase
Add the item(s) to your shopping cart
- Look for the "Add to Cart" button. If you don't see the "Add to Cart" button next to the item's price, then you are not on the item's detail page and you need to click on the item's Title Link or Picture.
- If the item has a mini-order form with additional supplies or options, look it over carefully and check those items you want to order with the main item before you click the "Add to Cart" button. You may also change their quantities in the mini-order form but you will be able to do that from the shopping cart also.
- Click on the "Add to Cart" button to add the item and any additional supplies you selected to your shopping cart.
Your Shopping Cart:
- When you click the 'Add to Cart' button for any item you wish to purchase, the web site automatically takes you to the shopping cart display. Here you may review the item(s) you are interested in purchasing, remove items, adjust quantities, calculate shipping, continue to checkout or continue shopping.
- Any time you need to get back to your shopping cart, simply click on the "View Cart"
 button near the top right of every page on our site.
The Shipping Calculator
- Built in to your shopping cart is a convient shipping calculator. To estimate the shipping for any order, simply enter your zipcode, select your state and select the shipping method you wish to calculate and click on the "Apply" button. Your shopping cart will refresh and display the shipping calculation.
The Coupon Code
- In order to take advantage of our Free Ground Shipping for orders over $25, the "VCDshipfree" Coupon Code must be entered in the Coupon Code field. Because the majority of our orders qualify for this offer, we have set up the shopping cart to automatically populate the field with the correct code for you. If your order is over $25 and you want the Free Ground Shipping method, you don't have to do anything to the Coupon Code field.
- If your order total is less than $25, you will need to remove the "VCDshipfree" code from the coupon field before continuing to place the order. Shipping will be calculated automatically.
- If you prefer a faster method for shipping than Ground, you may select it and continue to checkout without regard to the Coupon Code since the system will simply ignore it.
Proceed to Secure Checkout
- Click the red "Proceed to Secure Checkout" button from your shopping cart.
The Checkout Pages:
- There are a total of four checkout pages but only two of them have any information to complete, the last two are for reviewing your order before you submit it and confirming it afterwards.
Shipping
- Enter the address you want your order shipped to. (Notice that the first line is for BOTH the first AND last name on the same line, ie: John Doe)
- Please be sure to enter this address correctly as there will be a $10 address correction fee charged if the shipping carrier corrects the address in order to deliver your order.
- If this address is not already on your credit card account, we may request that you list it as an alternate with your credit card company, in accordance with our Fraud Prevention Policy.
- Select your shipping method. For detailed information on shipping methods, see our Shipping Policy.
- You will notice the Coupon Code field appears again on this page of the checkout form. If your order total is below $25, you will need to revmove the "VCDShipfree" code from the field before continuing to the next page.
- Scroll down until you see the "CANCEL" and "CONTINUE" buttons at the bottom of the page. Click Continue to continue placing your order.
Payment
- If you haven't already, you should take a moment to review our Return Policy.
- Enter your billing address if different from your shipping address.
- Select your Payment Methods and complete the required information.
- Enter your e-mail address. This field is required. We use your e-mail address as our primary means to contact you regarding this order. Please review our Privacy Policy.
Order Review
- This page allows you to review all the information you've entered for your order before placing the order.
- If you need to make any changes to the order before finalizing it, you may click the Back button near the bottom-left of the page to return to back up and make corrections.
- When everthing is correct and you are ready to place the order, click the "Submit Order" button near the bottom-right of the page. (PLEASE NOTE: your order is not complete unless and until you click the Submit Order button at the bottom of this page and navigating away from the site wiithout doing so may cause you to lose the information you've entered for the order.)
Confirmation
- Your confirmation page will have your order number. We suggest you print this page for your records and always reference your order number when contacting us about your order.
- You should receive an e-mail confirmation of the order within a few minutes.
