Dual V® Technology improves SteamVac™ by concentrating water suction into dual "V" shaped paths instead of a single path. The result is focused cleaning power from edge to edge so you remove more dirty water. It also has SpinScrub™ brushes to thoroughly scrub carpet fibers and a rinse feature that rinses out soapy residue for a clean, fresh carpet.

The Hoover® SteamVac Dual V® Compared to Older Extraction Technology: Most extractors utilize a single inverted "V" nozzle in their design. This nozzle design concentrates most of the recovery power from the center out. The Hoover® SteamVac Dual V® technology improves recovery power by splitting the nozzle design into two inverted "V's". This dual duct design creates uniform suction across the full width of the nozzle. Dual V® technology provides "edge to edge" cleaning and removes more dirty water than ALL other upright extractors. Dual "V" Shaped paths remove more water helping carpets dry faster.
