AAFA is the leading patient organization for people with asthma and allergies, and the oldest asthma and allergy patient group in the world. Dyson uprights are the first vacuums to meet the AAFA standards.
The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), a not-for-profit organization founded in 1953, is the leading patient organization for people with asthma and allergies, and the oldest asthma and allergy patient group in the world. AAFA develops health education, organizes state and national advocacy efforts and funds research to find better treatments and cures.
AAFA has partnered with the international research organization Allergy Standards Limited (ASL) on the asthma friendlyŽ Certification Program, the first program of its kind in the U.S. ASL has developed a series of standards that have been adopted by AAFA for the asthma friendlyŽ Certification Program. The asthma friendlyŽ standards are applied to a wide range of products to determine their suitability for people with asthma and related allergies.
